How do my classes look like?
I know you’re looking for a place where you will be able to develop your communication skills in a foreign language. Therefore, I conduct my classes in a way that enables you to speak 70-80% of our class time – in the foreign language, of course 😉
My goal is to prepare you for real-life communication in a foreign language at work, when traveling or with foreign friends.
I prepare each class according to my student’s individual Leeds. There’s no time for “copy-paste”
during my classes or for dull “fill-in-the-gaps” exercises! I teach using authentic materials and the best language workbooks to provide you with the
learning experience that’s relevant to your life and your language needs.
Humor and good vibes
I believe that a good vibe during the session is half the battle. For that reason, I’m always on the lookout for ways in which I can make my students’ learning experience more attractive and appealing. To my students, language classes are a pleasure, not a chore. It doesn’t mean that we’re gonna pass the lesson relaxing with a glass of wine 😉 On the contrary, I demand a lot of effort and engagement in the learning process from my students.
Effective use of time during class and at home
I know that time is your most precious resource, that is why I plan the class so that your time can be used in the most effective way. The golden rule of my sessions is: maximize the practice, minimize the theory. My students don’t waste their time analyzing new words or grammar structures during the session – they do it at home so that during the class we can focus on what’s most important to you: speaking and hands-on learning.

My sessions are dedicated to people who want to break the language barrier and feel more confident when speaking a foreign language. Your age, education level or previous experience learning languages doesn’t matter at all.
If you want to put your Polish, English or Spanish to the next level, you’re motivated to learn and, most importantly, you’re ready for regular work with me, my courses are definitely for you!
We start the session with a casual talk – in the foreign language, of course:) This short conversation helps you „switch” to speaking the foreign language in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Then we follow with a short recap of the vocabulary and structures from our previous session(s). Next, we talk through the things you prepared/studied at home: we clarify any doubts, check more difficult chunks of your homework and practice new structures.
In the meantime, I’m taking notes for you with all the new phrases and words that appeared during the session, and I correct your grammar and pronunciation. We don’t waste time analyzing grammar tables or filling in the gaps – we focus on speaking and practicing communication skills in the foreign language.
For optimal results, I recommend two sessions a week and daily, 15- or 30-minute self-study in the form of reading, reviewing class material, listening and preparing material for the next session. To sum up: you should spend at least 3-4 hours a week learning.
During class I use, above all, interesting and engaging authentic materials which I choose in accordance to your interests and language level. I occasionally use workbooks, especially at lower levels.
Homework is an import ant part of the session because it’s, in a way, the engine that gives power to our sessions. At home you’ll be asked to analyze a new structure, read an article, watch a video, listen to a podcast, or even record your own voice while speaking a foreign language:) During the session we discuss what you’ve prepared at home. The homework – I call it simply class preparation – is 100% adjusted to your interests and needs.
If you attend classes twice a week and spend at least 15 or 30 minutes self-studying daily, you’ll see the effects of breaking the language barrier and feeling more comfortable and confident when speaking the language after 2-3 months, although some of my students tell me they can feel the difference after a month already!:)
